Project Support Specialist, Co-op

Pillar5 Pharma Inc., an industry leading Canadian CDMO specializing in off-the-shelf sterile pharmaceuticals for the North American market, has an opening for a Project Support Specialist, Co-op, at our Arnprior, ON location. Reporting to the Aseptic Project Manager, you will be responsible for working with the aseptic processing area project team to expand our manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take charge and lead projects for updating drawings and documents related to the aseptic processing area expansion.
• Develop project timelines, deliverables in collaboration with the aseptic process area expansion project team.
• Works with appropriate stakeholders to resolve safety, quality, and efficiency issues.
• Assist Project Manager with data analysis projects and preparing presentations for senior leadership.
• Interact cross-functionally with teams such as Quality Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering Services, Facilities and Maintenance, Materials Management and Purchasing.
• Incorporate process improvement recommendations into the expansion project design.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year Engineering program, with a minimum of two years completed.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and ideas.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD programs.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
